The Job

The role of Retail Firearms Sales Associate contributes to the success of Midwest Gun Exchange by maintaining a working knowledge of firearms, cutlery and accessories and using this knowledge to create a professional and friendly customer experience while selling our products. The position helps to maintain the store visual standards and assists in keeping the floor stocked with merchandise. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Continually expand knowledge of products and services offered at Midwest Gun Exchange.
  • Help to maintain visual standards and cleanliness within the store.
  • Stock product from truck/warehouse to sales floor.
  • Communicate and cooperate with other staff and management team.

The Requirements

 
  • Previous retail sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills; addition and subtraction.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meet availability requirements including nights and weekends.
  • Working knowledge of firearms preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Performs other duties as required.
